Fine shot, Michael. I like the stalking action and the raised foot. Some may have preferred the bird to be looking at you, but in my mind I prefer stalking birds looking at their intended target.

Hi Michael---pretty, nice, creamy colors and a determined bird with a bootie. Might go a third less on the exposure but I could change my mind by viewing on another monitor, too. :)

Love the shot,

for my sake as unfamiliar to US egrets. A snowy egret is not the same as a little egret, right?

What's the difference?

Cheers

Florida Snowy's just crack me up with the tolerance and comfort level around people. You've done a nice job capturing that with the intent entirely on the hunt. I'm with Julie on a third less exposure and the fill flash isn't noticed at all - just as should be the case.

Nice, though perhaps a bit tight for an action shot. I might also like a head turn. Great exposure and nice soft whites.
