Black-Crested Titmouse

Roma, South Texas

F5, 600/4, 1.4X, Provia 100F.

This shot shows the behavior of the young when they are wanting food. They quiver their wings and call like crazy. I set this perch up near a feeder with the BG in mind. The parent bird was to the right getting food from the feeder.

Mom had better hurry. That is quite the matter-of-fact look he's giving her. Seems like this would fit the Motif since titmouse shots are typically of their sweet demure nature.

Killer shot as always. :)

I'm not sure I would want to be "Mom". This little bird looks like he is really all ruffled up and pretty demanding. Good capture on this. Details are excellent and the pose of the bird is fantastic. Nice one!

What an impatient little bird! :) I think this is great, Alan. I especially like the poofed-up crest.

Excellent! Nice action from this demanding little guy. Format is a bit more square than I prefer so I'd probably crop a little off the right to get closer to a 3:2 ratio. I'm probably in the minority once again though.
