(Bald Eagle) Homer, Alaska

It's been a while since I've posted a new one of these so here's another one. This is about a 50% crop and I'm not sure how well it would stand up to printing large but it looks great on the screen.

Tripod mounted Nikon D100, 500mm F4.0 AFS, ISO 200, Aperture Priority, 1/1000 @ F5. Cropped to about 50% original length.

Well, it's about time you posted another eagle! ;)

Sure does look good on the screen! Love the emphasis on the size and curve of the body.

Now is the time to start the Tony Eagle file. Tony, your eagles are stunning. I like the crop. I guess this is Haynes, and lucky to have been there. It is on my list for sometime.
Darn, that is nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pretty darn scary if you ask me....both the eagle, and the crispness of the image.
