Haven't posted a bird image for over two weeks so I thought I'd better get busy. This male Bullocks Oriole visited our campsite at Patagonia Lake State Park in Southern AZ.

35mm, 600mm f/4 & 1.4X TC, Tripod, ballhead, Fill flash @ -1 2/3, Provia 100F, Cloned out small catchlight from flash.

All comments greatly appreciated. Thanks

Alan, Lovely bird. I'd clone out the HOM, the label.

Cool shot. I have an idea next year to carve the orange into a jackolantern. I would leave the label be on this.

Gorgeous bird - hope you got some without the orange. Using a longer branch wish an orange on the end of them usually works as the Oriole lands on the perch and then moves toward the orange.

Lovely bird and great exposure to boot, Still the Spot breasted Orioles who visit my neighborhood never give the time of day, Next time I will bribe them with oranges!!! Wonderful!!!! 8)

ROFL! Works by me as it stands. The impaled orange is HOM; label cut in half justs adds to the humor.

You should have taken the label off the orange. I'd clone it out.
