A closer than I really want to be portrait of a King Vulture.

This is fabulous. I have seen these birds 3 seperate times in Costa Rica but always soaring. Never this close. The color and detail in the head and surrounding plumage is absolutely stunning. One would never believe a vulture could look so regal.
