Northern Shoveler Anas clypeata

This was taken at Belmar Park in Lakewood Co. a couple of weeks ago. The Shovelers were about the only ones that would come close on this day. So we made due with what we had.

Oh man, this is cool. That large bill makes the bird look front heavy :D . Nice capture. I like the bright colors and smooth water texture.
