Gorgeous, love the light and colors, too! Nice detail in the bird, seems to pop right off the screen.

You have to love the drooling ducks. :) I think this is a great shot of one of my very favorite ducks. Illuminating the female wigeon's eye has always been very difficult for me. :( You've done so expertly here. The light is so pretty and I love the color of the water as well.

Very nice.

Eurasian Wigeon (Anas penelope) looks like just the same as her American cousin :)

It's hard to type....and deal with the drool at the same time. You have certainly had the more gorgeous light and ducks this fall....not to mention your new found friend...the 10D. At first, I just lusted after your ducks...now I'm lusting after the whole lake....what a honeypot you have. How'd EJ send you his magical water....UPS, FedEx, or Airborne?

This image is smokin'. So is San Diego which is why I haven't posted for a couple days. It's been pretty scary here the past couple days. But the sky is clearing a bit and the winds are supposed to improve things later today and maybe I can go outside agian soon. This shot makes me drool too.
