Savannah sparrow perched in dead shrub. This was taken last year at a CT park just after the sun rose.

Paul, this is a sweet shot in sweet light. It's a little centered. Love the BG. This would make a good Motif.

Sweet light indeed. I would like to see the bird a little more to the right in the frame but still nice as is.

Definitely Motif material. :D

Paul, Wonderful light and a lovely bird, nice detail to boot, looks in my monitor as if the exposure is to the edge, but not a nit in any way!!
Congrats!! 8)

Great colors and light! I would like to see the composition changed slightly to make it less centered, perhaps having the bird lower in the frame?

Paul,

The light so warm it actually detracts some from the image. BG is very nice. Removing the far OOF branch would hekp.

Hi Paul,

Nice bird, great light, the distant BG is sweet, the twigs and such are a bit distracing as is. For me a stronger crop from right (about 1/2 the space between bird and edge of frame) would reduce the amoung of the bright twig at right. A crop of equal amount from top would restore dimensions but also allow the branches to continue on out of the frame. A bit more pleasing to my eye.

 That's some warm light! I think I'd like it better cropped and maybe cloned a bit but that's simply taste. Either way, this is nice! :)
