Another nemesis warbler I was fortunate enough to get a clean shot on at Magee Marsh this past May. Clean shot? Magee Marsh? Not terms you hear used in the same sentence very often!

Eos 1v, 500mm IS, 2x II TC, 25mm tube?, 550ex flash as fill, Provia F100 rated normal. This is virtually the full frame. For some unknown reason this one is showing some of the banding I have become famous for....

Thanks for looking and for your critiques,

BZ

Oops! Thanks Sandy!!

Brian, the image does not appear. You are missing a bracket at the end of the IMG tag.

Great shot of a difficult bird (for me anyway)
I noticed the banding, what kind of scanner?

Brian,
I think this shot has the perfect amount of habitat included. When I try to get these all I get are yellow blurs.

Hi Steve,

Polaroid Sprint Scan 4000. Any suggestions? It could also be the archaic version of Corel, Photo House I use....

Thanks,

BZ

Nice shot, Brian. Good pose by the bird and nice airy feel to the image. I like the habitat.

Very nice shot Brian. Its nice as is, but I would be tempted to crop in a bit so I could get the left edge nearer the tail to eliminate some of the darker BG (and banding) :)

Pretty bird and a very nice shot of it. I agree with Alan's crop suggestion.

Gorgeous shot. Too bad about the banding. No ideas on that. I like the habitat in this shot.

*Sigh* I can't wait 'till Spring. The background is amazing for Magee! This is very, very nice although I also notice the banding.

A great warbler shot.....one of many of yours. I'll be there this spring at Magee. I have to give the little guys a chance....I hate to give up....to little birds. Great job!
