The flight shot of an Eurasian Curlew was taken this morning at a nature reserve here in Hong Kong. Hope you like the rather warm early morning light too ...

EOS-10D, EF500/4L IS + EF1.4x
Incident @ -1/3, ISO 200

Absolutely beautiful light. The wing position along with the bird's position in the frame make a very dynamic composition.

I especially like the tones in this! Nicely composed, great catch of the bird in flight. Usually when I see curlews they are flying - away from me! Well done.

Love the white wedge up the back, like the Dowitchers in the US. Perfect wing position, nice lighting, comp is perfect.

An awesome image for sure!
