This is an image from Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis, MN. They take the docks out of the lake every fall and the gulls took advantage of the posts that had been left behind. The vast majority of the gulls are Ring-billed Gulls, but there is a smattering of Herring Gulls too.

Canon D30, Canon 600mm f/4, ISO 200, RAW, 1/1000, f/4, YarcPlus, Photoshop, USM, full frame.

Regards,

Terry

Terence,

I like the arc the posts form and the golden BG. Very nice. Might clone the intruding wing on the upper extreme left.

This is a nice shot. The flying bird in the left middle is a little distracting but the poses of the other birds is great.

This looks like Lake Calhoon at its best. Nice colors and composition.

I agree that I could do without the several flying birds but this is still nice. :)
