The whites are a bit toasty, you get that mid-day in summer :)

The whites aren't too bad given the lighting you were dealing with - I like the feet :)

I like the wing position and the dangling feet, coming in for a landing. I might crop a bit off the top to balance the comp on this one.

Steve,

The feet definitely make this. Can you imagine a composite image with some tulips in the foreground.

Wonderful action , made by the "Toe Dancing Pose"
That overcomes the contrast problems a lot.

Too lazy to raise the foot? Or maybe it was trying to drag it along the water for fun. I like the wing spread here. And, of course, that foot. :D

Steve,

I looked at this earlier today and have had the "Blue Danube Waltz" going through my head all day. Just thought I'd share that with you. ;)

Your title fits this image perfectly. The whites were very well handled especially for mid-day. The dangling foot make this one for me.

Excellent!!

I have really liked the motif this week....it brings out all sorts of images. This one certainly gave me a chuckle. It's that dangling foot that really does it for me.
