Harvey, although you nailed an amazing position with the bird framing the sun, I prefare your other comp. Cool shot.

Harvey,

This is very sweet! Love the pelican riding the sun. I missed the other comp referred to by Alan, probably a horizontal crop. I'll have to look up the original as I am interested in the story behind the image.

Well Done!

It took me a minute to see what was happening here but once I did I really like it. I like how the pelican appears to be wrapped around the globe of light.

Unusual and interesting, I like it!!

Another pretty cool shot. I think I like the first one better but this is also very interesting.

Harvey,

You did great capturing the Pelican on the sun. I think I would like to see this as a horizontal.

Does the term sunny side up bring comments?
I too like the first one better, but this is excellent also.

I guess I'll vote for the fist comp as well but this sure is an interesting image.

I like the other one too. You really must have post processed a lot to get detail on the wings with the sun right behind it.

Your images certainly get more interesting with each post. Even though I like the other one better, this one really grabs my attention. Your timing was excellent and you are forever thinking of different shots. Well done.

Harvey,

I definitely favor your previous image although I like the sky colors better here.
