Brown pelican taking off from the gulf side of FL.
They really make for some interesting subject material.

OK, now I'm starting to get jealous of all of the great pelican shots being posted. :D

I really like the "plop" behind this pelican. The trailing water droplets complete the implied action.

I really like the footsteps in the water shots and this very well done.
. they are not PLOPS- Plops leave white stains.

The landing gear is also used on take offs, heavy bird and a very long wings, no choice but to put the feet to work!!, Very nice action capture!!
