Yet another preening Great Egret ...
The shot was captured early this month. The early morning light helps to yield a warm tone to it.

EOS-10D, EF500/4L IS + EF1.4x
Incident @ - 2/3, ISO 200

Hi KK. Although I would also like a little bit more room I love the pose of the bird here. I really like the way the stretched out wing points to the corner and the fact that you can still see the bird's eye!

Usually I am behind the bird when they decide to preen or do a wing stretch. Nice catch of the behavior and from a good angle, too. I like the suggestion for a bit more room at the bottom.
