Composed judiciously with the bird at a power point and nice "breathing room" around him.

Very nice shot of this elusive little guy. It looks as if maybe the face was just oversharpened a hair.

Alan,

A very nice perch, pose and BG. The breast seems a bit magenta, not sure if this is my monitor or the scan. Well done!

This one is sensational. Excellent pose....simple....and perfect exposure and detail. You must use a lot of superglue to get these little guys to hold still for you. :D

Alan,

Excellent shot and very well composed. The perch and background are also up to your usual standards.

Alan,

Well executed as usual. Love your clean BGs and great perches. Never did see one there in March. When did you go?

Another Alan special.

I don't notice the over sharpening. It all looks good to me.

Well done, Alan! To me, this is the perfect size for a small bird in the frame.
