I like the over the shoulder look. I think you should tighten up the image some by cropping so that a few of the other perches are removed.

A nice pose and BG. Perhaps cloning of the left OOF reed. Flash would have cut the contrast some.

Good shot!

I like the contrast though. I'm not sure which or what twig to crop out. Perhaps I'm more distracted by the one on the right. The OOF one on the left is IMHO not so bad.

Cheers

I really like the composition to this. I'm a little bothered by the stick on the left but certainly not an image killer.

Very nice!!

Very nice bird and a lovely look back, with a little creative cropping it can be enhanced a lot, still very nice!!! Congrats!! 8)

Agree with the cropping suggestions. Great light and a very cool bird. The pose and the diagonal perch make the shot for me.

I like the suggested crops but wanted to add that I think this is a nice view of a bird I have not seen before. :)

Piotr.

looks a little grainy for iso 100. Cloning out the left OOF stem and a vertical crop would make this stronger IMO. great BG.

A beautiful bird and pose. I like the contrast. However, I'm with the others in a little more cropping and getting rid of the OOF twig. Still...a very nice image.
