Yesterday up in Grand Marais, MN at the campgrounds, there were longspurs and Snow Buntings (future posts) all over the place. The light in the early evening was amazing, and I was able to get some super cool shots including this guy that was teed up and very cooperative. I just sat in my car and shot away. The golden light on him was spectacular.

Sure is nice. On close inspection it looks like an unnatural perch but you did an excellent job of making it look good.

An excellent image of a guy I've yet to see. Beautiful light and detail. It's always nice to find a cooperative bird.

Beautiful! Nice and sharp and in great light. Wish the BG wasn't so abruptly divided but it's a very nice shot.
