Piotr,

You captured a great alert pose here. The exposure looks great and it has great detail. I would love to see this without the big rock as I feel it pulls away from the bird, also the dark lines going through the water are a bit distracting. I might also place the bird a little more to the right in the frame.

I think Alan summed it up very well. I love the alert posture. The exposure is dead-on.

Despite the minor nits, this is a very nice image. :)

I'm with Alan on his critique. Besides those nits, I see some great detail in the bird and I am always fascinated with avian images that show a different pose or some type of behavior. I like how this bird is standing, I usually see them huddled down.

Other than the distracting elements the bird looks very nice. I like the alert pose.

I totally agree with Alan and the others - the bird looks great but wish for the rock and the background elements to be gone.

The neck stretch is great. I would crop the bottom to remove OOF area and clone the diagonal stick out and perhaps add a bit to the top of the frame.
