Wood duck (on limb)

I probably have a few hundred Wood Duck images but none with the bird perched high in a tree. This limb was a couple of feet off the water. It will have to do for now. The brown muddy color of the limb is due to it being in the water most of the year.

Nice shot Ken. You wouldn't know this was only two feet off the ground. The branch looks fine. Great BG. The bird looks great too.

As much time as they spend in trees you sure don't see many photos of them there. This is very nice Ken. :)

This one is great. Even though they spend so much time in trees, I don't think I've ever seen a shot of one there. You have some great detail....and I can even see the feet. I like this one.

I've seen lots of ducks, but I've never seen one in a tree. This is a very cool shot! :)
