This is a very nice angle. I like the dark colors of the bird!

Bruce, this is a sweet shot. I would crop down just below the grey. Love the water drop on the bill.

Excellent, Bruce. A lovely bird. I agree with Alan about cropping the gray from the top.

Very nice. I would take a tiny bit off the top.

The cropping suggestion is very well founded for an uniform BG, the bird is lovely and well captured, namesake belly to boot!!! Congrats!!
Looks as if he works at Jiffy Lube!!!!

Very nice shot, Bruce. I like the very low angle with just water for foreground and background.

A really, really nice shot, Bruce. I'm kicking myself for not making it to Conneaut this fall.

I know that bird!!!! You did an excellent job with him...and I'll bet he wasn't that easy to shoot. They really seemed to stay on the move. Also, nice job of getting him in the water....most of mine are with the ugly brown mud as BG. Great job

Compositionally and technically this suits me to a tee. You might just consider cropping the grey on top but FWIW this is my type of composition.
