Canadian Goose flapping wings. Enjoy.
With the right lighting provia 100F can obtain the saturated qualities of velvia. Enjoy.

The one goose is perfect! Sharp where it needs to be and the blurred wings are really well done. The colours are great, too. The other geese are distracting, but not overly so.

Nice wing flap and a lovely bird, exposure to the edge but not bad, a hair tight on top but acceptable, the fractional birds do unbalance the whole image for me, since my little brain want to make the birds whole but it can not!!, Not enough RAM available for my Chemical Neuralphotoshop!!!, Dripping water drop is very nice!!! Congrats!! 8)

James,

Nice shot. I like the action you captured with the blurred wing flap. Getting rid of the other birds would improve the image, but sometimes it's not easy to isolste one bird.

Needs more room at the top and the removal of the ever present "extra" geese".

Nice capture of the wing flap. I think the other geese are a mild distraction from the center of attention, but this is still a fine shot. Geese are always in groups, so this looks very natural.

James, while I do like the action of the one bird I am not a fan of split backgrounds, though a lower angle would have made it better. Nice color in the background, though a bit muted.

You have a nice action shot. I too would prefer more room at the top and less birds in the picture. Still you did a good job of capturing the action and the colors are terrific.

Nice action shot. while the other birds may be adistraction, they're not that much of one to take away from the overall composition. Matter of fact they possibly add to the environment. This could use a bit more room on top though.

Hmm... I wonder which pond this is in and when I need to get there by to get that light? The nits have already been mentioned. Good work on the action.
