Going through some old images. This was taken at Corkscrew 2/18/03. Shooting though some limbs to capture this head shot.

D60, 600IS, 1.4x, ISO 400, Ev-1, Fill at -1.3, cloned out some hotspots in the BG.

Jim, A difficult place to shoot and you did pretty good!!!, Very nice exposure , good detail and wonderful soft colors, A pretty mature bird to boot!!! Congrats!!!! 8)

Very nice Jim. I would have been inclined to move the camera a tiny bit higher and to the right. The background is great for where it was shot!
