This almost full frame. I could have cloned off the oof bird in the bg but I think it adds some artistic feel to it. So here it is ... The shot of this Geenshank in flight was taken last week at an nature reserve here in Hong Kong.

KK, Your getting some great flight shots. I like this one but I feel the OOF bird takes away from the impact of the flying bird. I'd be tempted to clone it out. Love the sharpness of the flyer.

KK,

Very nice action shot of a fast moving bird. The static bird adds some perspective. Not sure I like the BG color.

KK, very nice shot. I'm split between keeping the OOF bird and cloning it out. I would keep it because its reflection is so nice and it balances the frame nicely. If it were only a little sharper...
The greenshank in flight is awesome!

KK, the Greenshank is great. If it were mine, I'd remove the OOF bird.

I have looked at this quite a few times and I am still not sure about the out focus bird. The bird in flight is very nice!

I really like it without the OOF bird. This is just such an awesome flight shot that I hated to see the distraction before. I don't know how you do the flight shots with the 10D.....and of such small birds. Whatever you have figured out is sure working for you.

KK,

Very nice shot. The sharpness and wing position are great. You improved the image by removing the second bird.

I like the reposted image much better. It really highlights just how much the OOF bird detracted from the first image. Very nice!

I like it the way it is but would also like the bird to be alone. Nice shot!

I like it more with the OOF bird, but I'm usually against manipulating originals, any way...

I think that it would work better in the original framing without the OOF bird. The second post is nice but a bit tight.
Great exposure and detail. Very nice work.

I prefer the first with the oof bird, just a little more fade out ..
Monique, I am packed and ready to go, I may not look like much but I am well behaved and can grow on you like a fungus, with no cure for it!!!

KK,

The flyer is awesome. Monique's suggestion to make the OOF bird even more OOF is worth a look.

Moca's got a good point. The OOF bird might be better if it was less defined. The version with just the bird in flight is very nice too but it might be a little too tight. I think that's why people suggested cloning out the other bird to leave the space around the bird.

I like them both. I wish you had shot a second earlier so the flying bird wasn't positioned away from you.
