Grey Heron - Ardea cinerea
While watching a group of Grey Herons for a couple of hours I found it very strange that they showed a lot of nesting-behaviour. Walking around with all kinds of sticks and branches in their beak. This is one of the herons with a nice branch with colorful leaves in it's beak. Canon EOS300D Canon EF300/2.8 + EF1.4 1/100 @ f/4.0 ISO400, Evaluative -1 1/3 Gitzo tripod and a lot of rain |
