A fine image with good detail, Jim. You did well stacking the converters. I might like it a bit tighter.

A nice portrait. I think there is too much space above his head and a crop would substantially strengthen the composition

Very good shot, Jim!!, Good exposure and detail, it would have been killer as a vertical !, Just my taste!!!, Still wonderful head shot!
Congrats!! 8)

Technically excellent, but for a portrait like this I would like the shoulder coming right out of the LRHC

This is part of a great set of these in your collection, Jim. I might consider placing the bird higher in the frame if given a similar opportunity to shoot.

I think I would like a vertical on this one as well. However, the detail is incredible for stacked converters. You just don't realize the detail until you get a closeup shot as sharp as this.

Jim,

I like this a lot. My favorite thing about these birds is the ivory colored bill. So neat!

Amazing job stacking the TC's....Nice and sharp, but if I have an extremely minor nit, it is that I would like to see just a little more shoulder...otherwise, it is a great shot of a rather attractive bird.

We see many of these on our way to the Texas cost.

Cheers,

Mark in Austin

You could go tighter, but I love the detail as is, too.

Nice close up and great detail in this beautiful bird! I might prefer a bit less room at the top as well, a minor nit and a simple fix.

Wish I had something like this of one of these magnificent birds.

Unbelievable detail. Faultless technique with stacked TC. I am jealous.

Outstanding technique..as you know, I am a fan of tight in the frame, so I would crop away, but thats just personal preference. Good going!

A really fine shot, Jim. I agree with more cropping unless you're holding back on a shoulder :?:

Nice work with stacked converters (also known as the sandwich) :) . I don't have a preferance as to a horizontal or vertical on this one but I always try to put the eye out of the center of the frame. Just a personal preference.
