Its Finally Rained. Willy in the rain

Well it is finally raining here. Everyone is excited, we have had 1/2 an inch so far. All the birds have vanished into the trees but the brave little Willy Wagtail is making the most of it sitting on a fence post taking a bath. This was shot through my dining room window so not as clear as it might have been but it is so good to see rain finally. We were two days off having to buy in water for the house, rain water is so much better.

Nikon Z8 with 600 pf + 1.4 TC
F9, 1/1250, ISO 6400

Lovely image, Kim - glad you finally got some rain - we frequently don't appreciate how precious water is - until it becomes scarce.
We're having some much needed rain as well.

the best time to be out with the birds and enjoy the same thing that they are doing, I like the wet like as-well KIM.
