Guess Spring is finally here.  The 800 allows me to shoot from a distance that doesn't alarm or intrude so quite pleasing to see this gosling nestled among the daisies. 

Mom kindly provided a shadow to keep it out of the direct light.

Z9 and 800 PF.

An excellent, very originally composed image, David. Great detail captured on the gosling. ( Still waiting for Spring in my part of Canada) !

How cute is this David. All the daisies set the little one off nicely. I remember seeing a foal in a paddock without shade in high summer and the mother was using her body to give shade as was another mare. It was too much for me so I went to the farm house and told the farmer to give them some shade or I would call the RSPCA on him. He was angry with me but did it.
