This Coopers Hawk flew by and then perched nearby. Luckily it held while I got to a better position.

A fine image, Terry- the soft brownish colour tones, look very good here. Great lighting, too. Certainly a wary species to approach from my experiences, so an excellent capture, here.

The colour pallet works very well here. He looks a bit scruffy but most of the similar hawks here in Australia have the same look to them. All in all a great image.
