Photographed locally in warm morning light. Sometimes their poses make them look like contortionists. :)

Amazing wing positions Axel. Extraordinary how they adjust so quickly for flight.

The open bill and the tail spread, stand out here for me, Axel. I am curious, when taking in-flight images, if you have image stabilization turned on or off?

Thanks, Paul. I normally leave IS on, it's probably not necessary because of the high shutter speed, but it also stabilizes what I see in the viewfinder.

Awesome flight shot, perfect background and wonderful pose of the wings and tail. The open bill is a nice bonus.

Another beauty of your small and fast birds in flight series.
