Tree Swallows

R5II, RF600f4, 1.4x, 1/6400s, f/6.3, ISO 5000, manual

Photographed at a local lake. These two were preening, then all of a sudden looked at each other and opened their beaks without making a sound. A few seconds later that would stop and they continued to peacefully preen again, go figure. :)

Wonderful interaction, looks like they are in a shouting match!
The colour of the feathers is wonderful, goes very well with the background.
