 CANON 100-500RF @ 500mm f7.1 @ 1/2000 ISO 1600 I hadn't seen a meadowlark in many years, so it was a pleasant surprise to encounter a few, last summer, at a new location. I didn't expect to see much in the way of bird species, on this very hot day, but as soon as I stopped my car, I could here them singing. A very picturesque area, with other species present, as well, ( including an Orchard Oriole- posted here a few weeks ago), so looking forward to going back this season.
