I have seen a couple reports about Snowy Owl sightings in the region and finally found one. Photographed a few minutes after sunrise.

Wow- gorgeous light. How lucky can you get! Snoweys aren't allowed to be reported here...very hard to find.

Axel, What a great shot. The light is excellent, but the direct stare makes it for me.

Great find and photo, Axel. ( I've never seen one, and this species is at the top of my list) ! I don't see any postings of sightings here in Ontario, so somewhat of a "needle in a haystack" situation to locate any, considering how immense the Province of Ontario is.
