It might be the best looking Ow, that is. Very friendly but won't fly for some reason. CRC.

Gorgeous bird- great perch, and oh, those eyes! If in rehab, maybe it can't fly? We have many such injured birds (but not this particular owl), at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS)- a raptor rehab site. They also take all and every other injured and orphaned birds. I love the beautiful feathers on this one.

An awesome species. I heard one a few days ago near Munich but no chance to take a picture.
This shot is fantastic, great colours and light, the perch is wonderful and few birds are as impressive as the Eurasian Eagle Owl.
Fortunately their populations heave increase in many parts on Europe, like here in Germany.
