That old surfboard, made for an excellent coloured background, Dan. Fine colours throughout the image. ( Your images of space on the Landscape Galleries category, are stunning-certainly a great deal of patience and skill, to take these photographs. Ha! That looks like spring! Clever backdrop. Pretty bird too- -amazing yellow color. Some female will be impressed...besides me. ;)

Cool idea with the surfboard Dan. BG looks good. I could see perhaps the use of a bit of fill flash to give the bird a bit more "pop"

Lovely use of an old surf board Dan. A little selective brightening on the bird of fill flash as mentioned would lift this image nicely.
