I read a report about a young Pomarine Jaeger at the shore in New Jersey and fortunately found the bird. First time for me to see this species. Please click on image for more details.

Perfect shooting angle, beautiful forward wing pose and very nice layered background. Congrats on your lifer.
We rarely get them at that stage of birding.

Another uncommon species photographed, Axel! Always nice to see a "new" species. The split-coloured background is very effective here in your image.
