I found a group of males and females in a relatively close distance. The sun was behind clouds and it started raining shortly after this image was taken.

Wonderful soft light, great details. I like the colour of the water being close to the colour of the duck.

A fine image, Karl, with the water colour complementing those of the Gadwall, so well.( I know you have your Nikon system, but certainly excellent results from your Canon one, as well).
