This is my first post with my new Z 600 pf lens. Last week Nikon Australia posted they had Demo lens on sale. I got it $2000. less than new price and my copy is mint. I am so happy, it is much lighter than the 180-600 lens and the image quality is better and sharper.

Big thanks to all those that replied to my last post on upgrading the 180-600 lens.

This image of the honeyeater was shot through my dining room window glass as I was trying out my new lens. Can't  wait for my next holidays away.

This is a mature male, you can see part of the yellow markings on the tail and he has his tongue out. He has two white tufts each side of his head.

Congratulations on the new lens, Kim, great that Nikon makes lightweight lenses that are affordable and good quality. I like the fluffed-up pose, eye contact and that we can even see the tongue.

Big congrats on the lens! Great price! And a wonderful shot to start off your new adventure. Thanks for all the info on this bird, so unfamiliar to me.

Pretty cool shot Kim. Nice details despite being through your glass window. The tongue is so cool. Wow re it's price... That is such a good deal! Fab shot and great to see you enjoying your new kit!
