CANON R5
CANON 100-500 RF @ 500mm
f7.1
ISO 320

This species of Flycatcher, is a large and vocal one, and often is higher up in the forest canopy, but at times will come down lower, as this one did. There is a crest, but it is not always displayed. This image was taken in early Summer, but now, this species and other Flycatcher species, have gone South to the Tropics, for the Winter. Quite an interesting bird to observe, and certainly our most colourful one, with the lemon-yellow colouration.

Province of Ontario, Canada, image- June 13, 2024.
Thanks to everyone for viewing.

Great find and pose, Paul. Around here, I don't usually get to see them at eye level.
