On a few select lakes here in central BC, the shorebirds are starting to show up in decent numbers as they stop to feed before continuing their southward migration. 

Nikon Z 9 & Z 800mm @ f/6.3, 1/4000, EV +1, Auto ISO 1400, handheld from the kayak.
