Another look at my favorite subject for this time of year.

Nikon Z 9 & Z 800mm @ f/10, 1/1000, ISO 560, fairly heavy crop, from the kayak.

peek-a-boo! Sweet shot. The chick's markings always amaze me-the pink in front of their eyes seems like a strategic deception, as it looks like an even larger eye to me.
