I'd like to say I was going for the habitat look,  :D, but there wasn't really an option.  Sometimes, the subject distance to bg distance ratio works and sometimes it is what it is.  

Z9 and 800.  1/2000 F6.3 ISO 1000.

trying something new well work or it my not, until you see the big picture, if it was to get the subject with-in the habitat range you got that part well, the rest is history DAVID.

This was a different bird Cindy.  Had a couple of hens in tow.  Although the others who were fighting have probably stopped, I would guess it went on for some time.
