R5, RF600f4, 1.4x, 1/4000s, f/6.3, ISO 2500, manual

Photographed in the morning a few days ago. Please click on image for full resolution.

Because of the wildfires in Quebec the air quality is incredibly poor right now that photographing birds is not an option, the AQI is 464 at a maximum of 500. I can only imagine what it's like in some areas in Canada.

very nice work on getting this one, details looking good AXEL.

P.S. HERE IN MONTREAL AND ALEXANDRA, ONT. WERE I GO A FEW TIMES TO SHOT, THE QUALITY OF AIR IS POOR AND ON SOME DAYS YOU CAN SMELL THE BURNING IN THE AIR, WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE SUN IN THE LAST 5 DAYS BUT FOR ME THAT MAKES FOR BETTER SHOOTING CONDITION.

Definitely one of my favourites of your swallow images Axel. The pose, detail, colours and iridescence are stunning in this beautiful shot!

Okay - I give up - my attempts at capturing super agile/swift swallows have been, shall we say, 'challenging' - your shot is spectacular and I know very difficult! Congrats on your well deserved EP!
