Sony A7RIV, 200-600 @ 600, F/6.3, 1/3000, ISO 320,
The Tui is generally a placid calm type bird ........... until another Tui decides to get on the same flax bush and they get upset. The yellow on the forehead comes from the pollen/nectar they get out of the flower of the flax bush. The white tassel on the throat makes them different. Male and female are exactly the same, except the female is smaller. Amazing calls they make. Normally they look like this ..... NZ Tui All the best your way. Danny. |
