Crested Caracara and a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher photographed at the Laguna Seca Ranch in deep South Texas 18 May 2022.  There was a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher nest nearby, and the STFs would mob the Caracaras pretty regularly.  This photo shows the STF landing on and biting the Caracara.

Great capture of this interaction, the Flycatcher looks quite determined.

The ST Flycatcher is such a beautiful little bird - and obviously has the heart of a lion! Amazing capture, Gene.
