Photographed at a local pond, most Swallows are probably going to leave very soon.

Cracking capture Axel! Nailed. (Our Swallows have started the process of leaving also). (Have seen them as late as the 18th October but not recorded any leavers beyond that here).

Great shooting angle and detail. Banking, showing the back is always a good flight pose.

Catching the trailing wing tip almost brushing the surface of the water always adds a nice finishing touch to an action swoop of one of these beautiful speeding bullets, Axel!
