I don't often like centered comp, but I think it was your best option here - it works for me! Great inter-species interaction!

Well done- excellent interaction. Agree, the centered composition works here, balanced, I think, by the vulture's extended wing. Were they fighting?

Cynthia, It is extremely rare that a Turkey Vulture will engage with another Raptor.  In this case, the Turkey Vulture was just reacting.  It is typical for a Caracara to harrass a Turkey Vulture just because they can.  Interesting, Caracaras will generally not harrass a Black Vulture.  In fact, Caracaras will land next to a Black Vulture and put its head toward the Black Vulture to be preened.
