Australian Bustard (Ardeotis australis) all puffed up in full display at the end of the day. He will point his head higher with the bill closed, but here is making his loud call, which sounds a bit like a distant lion. That is the end of his tail touching the back of the neck.

ISO1000, 840mm, f6.3, 1/5000, by Canon.

A fine capture of their display action, Greg! Love the golden tones throughout.
