Belted Kingfisher.

Since we were up on a Bridge, half way up in a tree became eye level shooting for us. I think it is a juvenile as it did not show any fear of humans.

Karl, Looks like a young female to me. Young or old, I've never seen a Belted Kingfisher that wasn't skittish unless it was in a park and became comfortable with people. A nice image.

Thanks, Gene. Generally speaking you are right. The only exception are the first year young ones of any species.
