Juvenile Goldfinch with Cowbird

At least I think it's a Cowbird.  I know that the cowbird is notorious for laying its eggs in other birds nests but I have never seen them interact with another species.  The young goldfinch did seem to think it was going to get a meal from the cowbird.  If it is a cowbird, it would be a Brown- Headed Cowbird female.

Interesting interaction. The Cowbird looks like a juvenile and might be the 'sibling'. If that were true, it would be a misunderstanding on the part of the juvenile Goldfinch to expect food. :)
